We offer virtual vinyasa for every body (inspired by the ashtanga vinyasa tradition) where the teacher offers you verbal cues to develop your practice. You can join wherever you are for a small amount of $38.50 fortnightly, cancel or pause any time.
Ashtanga means “eight limbs” or steps and is divided into three disciplines. First is self restraints or physical practices including practice of postures or asanas and pranayama. The second is antaranga-sadhana or emotional and mental discipline and the third is antaratma sadhana which is the successful quest of the soul through one pointedness of the mind and deep meditation. Patanjali said “the practice of yoga destroys the impurities of the body and mind”
why not give it a go?
It’s been a popular class for a number of reasons: provides options for every skill level provided, boosts core strength, clarifies the mind, enhances posture and confidence, options for people who are working and busy to attend a yoga shala or perhaps too far from one. This is like being live with a teacher, except no physical adjustments are provided. Try it out.
